Fantastic restaurant - cannot recommend highly enough. Like home cooking but far better than you'd ever be able to make yourself, and very good value too. Excellent wines expertly recommended, first rate service from the lovely chatty owner who explained the entire menu and all the ingredients in English, and very accommodating for our children's needs as well. If we're ever back in Tours we'll be making a return visit!After a long walk around the centre of Tours we settled on Comme à la Maison (which was one of the first places we saw) and have no regrets. Friendly people, brief but interesting menu, fresh produce well prepared. Extensive wine list at reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.

The whole experience was perfect - lovely food, lovely wine, really nice people, all in a relaxed atmosphere. So pleased we found this place. Small local 3 course menu of delicious fresh food. Service is very friendly as well, I recommend trying the organic red wine.
Outstanding hospitality. The waiter had the best recommendations for us. The local and organic food was excellent and delicious. Definatelly visit this place again at our next stay in tours.

Premier abord c'est petit mais il y a un étage.
Accueil très sympa par le patron qui aime son métier et donne de très bons conseils.
Je n' ai pas pris de photos au départ car nous ne nous attendions pas à autant d' originalités et c'est excellent.
Autre surprise la carte des vins indication du prix des vins à la propriété : c'est très rare.
Je note 5 car ce n'est pas un endroit sophistiqué mais où l'on est à l'aise et décontraction assurée.
On quitte les lieux avec une envie de revenir.

Booked with RESTOPOLITAN. A simple, unassuming restaurant, and upon entering, you discover an unusual place: "Just Like Home" is aptly named. At first glance, it's small, but there's an upper floor. A very friendly welcome from the owner, who loves his job and gives excellent advice. I didn't take any photos at first because we weren't expecting so much originality, and it's excellent. Another surprise is the wine list, which lists the wine prices at the property: this is very rare. I rate it 5 because it's not a sophisticated place, but it's comfortable and relaxed. You leave wanting to come back. A word of advice: remember to make a reservation.
